San Antonio School Districts
The San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) is massive, and encompasses quite a large number of schools. There are also other districts like Alamo Heights (my Alma mater), Edgewood, Northside, and South San Antonio… all Independent School Districts.
Like any city, property taxes and the quality of the schools are going to vary by what area of town you’re in. If you’re going to move to San Antonio it’s a good idea to do a little research. Many people in my family are teachers in San Antonio, so I’ll share a bit of their knowledge and experience here.
